Seni Silat Republic was formed by president of Malay Cultural Group, Putri Nurhasanah.
Managed to recruit only 4 pesilats in 2005, now RP silat squad also known as Selatra has bloom to over 30 participants.
Lead by our instructor, Mr. Ismail and wife Mdm Salmah from Seni Silat Gayong Pasak Singapura,
we now have talented and potential leaders in the silat arena.
Our silat team not only consists of Malay student but also student of other races.

We as the newest Polytechnic campus in Singapore hosted ISC '08 and we came in 3rd as the overall champion with 3 GOLD, 4 SILVER and 3 BRONZE in hand.
